Passionate about the journey & the destination
When I was three, my family moved to Africa where childhood roadtrips sparked a lifelong love of travel. I've since visited 27 countries and lived across three continents.
My path to UX has also been a journey of sorts. I have followed my interests whenever possible, and adapted to changing needs and priorities when needed. I was a process engineer at a disk drive company, web designer at a health startup, and a taught English as a Second Language. I discovered user-centered design through a class I took out of curiosity and was thrilled to have found a career that combined everything I loved!
I’m action-oriented, adaptable, and empathetic.
I’m intrigued by complex puzzles and drawn to understanding the unfamiliar.
I live for those "a-ha" moments when things click. And when they don't, I'm not afraid to pivot and try again.
I’m all about doing great work but also care how it gets done.
Whether shaping digital experiences or guiding teams, I keep humans at the center and lead with intention and heart.

What grounds me
When I'm not designing or traveling, I’m planning my next trip, taking long walks, practicing yoga, diving into podcasts and audiobooks, experimenting with new recipes, spending time with loved ones, or satisfying my need to organize (and reorganize!) spaces.
The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes. ~ Marcel Proust
