Hello! I’m Gayatri ✨

I’m all about working together to solve the right problems the right way.

TLDR: I’ve been a successful process engineer, web developer, and ESL teacher in the past and I now bring my analytical thinking, creative problem-solving, and enthusiasm for helping people to UX design! I strive to make technology intuitive and effortless by keeping humans at the center - those who use it as well those who build it.

I specialize in interaction design, information architecture, user research methods, and AI product design, as well as a strategic mindset that connects user needs to business goals.

I’ve led design strategy for AI-powered support experiences for B2C as well as designed enterprise frameworks for internal sales teams, shaping roadmaps and collaborating with product, engineering, and research to build scalable, user-centered solutions.

I feel energized by a shared purpose, and approach people with empathy and tackle challenges like puzzles: gathering, organizing, creating and continuously refining until the pieces fit. And when they don't, I’m not afraid to take things apart and try again.

Personal fun fact: I’ve been traveling since I was 3 years old and have lived on 3 continents. I’m drawn to understanding the unfamiliar and seek common ground while respecting differences.

What grounds me

When I'm not working or traveling, I enjoy:

  • Planning outings and trips

  • Long walks

  • Journey within with yoga

  • Podcasts and audiobooks

  • New takes on old recipes

  • Spending time with loved ones

  • Satisfying my need to organize (and reorganize!) spaces

The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new lands, but in seeing with new eyes.
